Custom software development
When off-the-shelf software does not fit, I build what does: customer portals, dashboards, admin tools and integrations. I work remotely with companies across Germany, and you deal with one engineer from the first call to the release.
What you get
Software built around your processes instead of the other way around. Typical projects include:
- Web applications and customer portals
- Internal dashboards and admin tools
- APIs and integrations with the systems you already use
- Replacing spreadsheets, paper forms and manual steps
- Automated emails, reminders and invoices
- Automated tests and releases, so changes stay safe
Standards from large-scale software
Today I am a Staff Engineer at a Berlin tech company, where I lead four mobile SDKs that run inside more than 1,000 apps and handle billions of requests every day. I guide a team of engineers from planning to release.
Your project gets the same standards: clean architecture, automated testing and releases, and software that keeps running long after launch. I also build and publish my own products, for example Pawwall.
How a software project runs
A clear sequence, with a decision point at every stage.

30 minutes about how your business works today and where time is lost.
-
Plan and fixed quote
A short written plan with scope, timeline and a fixed price.
-
Build
You see working software every week and give feedback before anything is final.
-
Launch and support
I put it live, train you and your team and stay around for updates.
What affects cost and time
Custom software has no standard price, because no two processes are the same. These factors matter most:
- The number of user roles and the rules each one needs
- How many workflows and screens the first version has to cover
- Connections to existing systems, and how well those systems are documented
- Data that has to be migrated from spreadsheets or older tools
- Security, privacy and hosting requirements
- How available your team is for questions and feedback
We usually start with a small first version, so you can use it early. The fixed quote follows the free call.
Frequently asked questions
When does custom software make sense?
When standard tools force your team into workarounds, or when the process is a core part of your business. If an existing product fits, I will tell you so, whether or not you hire me.
Can you connect software we already use?
Yes. I build APIs and integrations that connect your existing systems, so data no longer has to be copied by hand.
Do I need to know the technology?
No. I explain decisions in plain language and write down the plan. You decide what matters for your business.
Who maintains the software after launch?
I can stay on for updates and maintenance, and the code is tested, so others can work with it too.
Do you work with teams outside my region?
Yes. I work remotely for clients across Germany, with regular calls and weekly progress.
